As a custom photographer, I photograph you and your children in your own home, or at an outdoor location you'd like to use. It's a much more relaxed process than a studio session, and we take time for breaks when needed. This is one of the benefits of hiring a photographer who comes to you...I won't be rushing you at all. Child sessions are more like playdates than photo sessions. After all, capturing what's real doesn't involve backdrops and studio props. Mostly I'll be using natural light. On occasion, I find the need to pull out some portable lighting, but it really depends on the lighting in your home. Approximately 3 weeks following your session, your proofs will be ready, and I'll contact you to schedule an ordering appointment. When possible, you will have an online gallery available for viewing two days prior to this appointment, so you can do some preliminary decision-making, and gather any wish lists from grandparents or other family members. Feel free to show this gallery to friends as well. Your order will be due at your ordering appointment. All special pricing, including discounts available through collections, will expire at the end of that meeting. Plan on the ordering session taking at least an hour, and it's best if you're free of distractions. If childcare can be arranged for that time, it helps make the ordering process run much smoother. Most orders can be ready within 2 weeks of placing the order. Some specialty items do take longer. When your order is ready, I'll contact you to arrange delivery to your home or office, whichever is more convenient.
SESSION FEES
To commission Lauri for your portrait session, these
non-refundable fees are due within 3 days of booking.
Baby or Child (1 or 2) ... $225
The parents may be included in a baby or child session, but emphasis will be on capturing the child. If a family portait is desired, a family session must be booked.
First week newborn ... $165
Maternity ... $265

Extra people or pets ...$30 each
Polices include (but not limited to) the following:
- A $100 premium applies to all Saturday sessions. Sunday sessions not available.
- All locations requiring special permits or entrance fees will incur additional fees.
- All prices subject to change without notice, but will be locked in with paid bookings, until your ordering deadline. All special pricing, including collection pricing, expires at the end of your ordering appointment. Any orders placed after that will be subject to invividual print pricing, late order fees, and any price increases that may have taken effect since booking your session.
