As a custom photographer, I photograph you and your children in your own home, or at an outdoor location you'd like to use. It's a much more relaxed process than a studio session, and we take time for breaks when needed. This is one of the benefits of hiring a photographer who comes to you...I won't be rushing you at all. Child sessions are more like playdates than photo sessions. After all, capturing what's real doesn't involve backdrops and studio props. Mostly I'll be using natural light.
