Uh-oh…I’m slacking on the blogging again! I’m behind on editing sessions, so I haven’t had time. I’ll sneak a couple in tonight. More newborns – we must be having a baby boom in St. Louis; I’ve photographed many in the last few weeks. Wish I could post more of them…as I catch up on work, I promise I’ll try. Tonight just one boy and one girl. But both so sweet! For this first one, I’ve been wanting to use this olive root bowl for a long time. Bought it at Twigs & Moss on Clayton Road, and I’m not sure the owner really thought a baby could fit in it. I’ll have to show him my results…yes, just an excuse to go back to his lovely shop.

Okay, I said sometimes they don’t sleep, and then I posted a sleeping baby. LOL I did promise to show you this baby awake though. He was a super smiley baby, I tell ya! And look at the hair on this child! This newborn portrait session has been a lot of fun editing.

Sometimes these little newborns don’t sleep at all while I’m at their house, until I start packing up to leave. So out comes the camera again! Wait ’til you see the images of this baby while he’s awake though…boy, does he have a full head of hair! I’ll have to post some of those later. For now, here’s the precious little guy sleeping at last.

Travel Sessions – St Louis Newborn Photographer

I had a chance to visit our nation’s capitol earlier this month, and photographed this sweet newborn in Alexandria, VA. It was a long session, but I so enjoyed getting to know her parents and watching miss E’s various expressions as she starts to experience her new world. She has quite the built-in friend too, as you can see here, while she sleeps. If you’d like me to visit your city to photograph you or someone you love, just drop me a line and we can discuss the details. I also have a list of photographers whose work I adore in many other parts of the country, so I can always refer someone too.
