Angie and Lindsay over at The White Rabbit agree with me, so we both have some special events lined up for you this Sunday, on Mother’s Day, of course!

The White Rabbit is having their annual Mother’s Day sale, and I’ll be jealous I’m not there. I always find something to buy every time I go. So shop to your heart’s content at their shabby chic boutique on Sunday, and then hop down Manchester just a short drive into Maplewood and come indulge in a glass of bubbly while viewing some art. My black and white art photography is on exhibit at the S.Carmody Photography studio and gallery, and I’ll be hanging out there on Sunday doing my part to make Mother’s Day fun for moms.  I’ll be serving some kind of delicious munchies too.

But the best part is this – bring your Mother’s Day receipt from The White Rabbit, sign my guest book, and I’ll give you a $100 certificate good toward a print purchase from your next portrait session.

I was surprised how busy it was all night. We closed down late and sold several pieces. I’m thrilled! Thanks everyone! Here are a few shots of the evening. I only had time to take a few quick photos when I first arrived, but there were already some early birds there so I had to put my camera away pretty quick. Thankfully, Sarah Carmody took some and my friend Christine brought her camera too.

The installation will be on exhibit through the end of May, so please stop by and tell any friends you know who like fine art black and white photography. I have a few color pieces there too. It’s at S. Carmody Photography, 2707 Sutton Blvd, in Maplewood. Open gallery hours will be posted soon. If you’d like to see it in the meantime, let me know and I might be able to arrange a private showing.

Join me for this special event on November 6th, 7th, and 8th. Selections of my work will be displayed and for sale at the Riverside Gallery at 13 West Moody (next to Llewelyn’s.) As much as I love portraits, I can’t wait!  I love dogwood trees…someday I’ll get a pink dogwood, but right now, I just have a white one. And it’s been in bloom for a long time this spring. I’ve been eating it up.
